Village Camp Sessions for 2009 The “village” program has activities that are somewhat different than those of the regular campers. In the village, campers will do a lot more outdoor cooking, will have more small-group devotions and evening activities, and will participate in a mountain bike excursion and a river canoe trip. Because these activities are geared more toward older campers, the village experience will not be offered to those younger than 5th grade. An example of one of the village cabins is on the left. Each village cabin houses six people, and four of these cabins to make up the village. In order to promote a more intimate community, the village is located near the shelterhouse, far away from the regular camper cabins. Placing the village there allows the shelterhouse to provide space for gathering, meal preparation, and restrooms.

the title of any of the programs below to get $59 per person The first “Awestruck Festival” was held in 2006 and was organized by former summer staff members. It made a comeback in 2008, and it's going to be better than ever in 2009! The Awestruck Festival provides a camp experience for those too old to attend our regular programs. Age limits will be those currently entering high school, those in high school, or those having just completed high school. It will have the feel of a high-school youth gathering, including special guest speakers and Christian bands, but will include a lot of the camp activities you have grown to know and love. For more details, visit the event's website at www.awestruckfestival.com.
