Registration Policies for 2012
- Registrations should be postmarked on or after Wednesday, February 1, 2012.
- The brochures sent to our general mailing list, distributed through packets sent to Sunday schools, and handed out during visits to Lutheran elementary schools shall all be in the recipients’ hands no later than January 27.
- Registrations postmarked before January 27th will be returned immediately along with a letter stating our registration policies.
- Early registrations postmarked closer to the beginning of registration will be treated in the following manner…
- January 31st postmarks will be processed with those marked Feb. 2
- January 30th postmarks will be processed with those marked Feb. 3
- January 28th postmarks will be processed with those marked Feb. 4
- January 27th postmarks will be processed with those marked Feb. 5
- No phone registrations will be accepted until February 15th
- We highly encourage people to list a second and third choice if they are willing to accept it.
- We highly encourage groups of friends to gather their registration forms and send them in the same envelope. This will prevent them from being postmarked on different dates and potentially becoming registered for different programs.
- Registrations dropped off personally at camp (or elsewhere) will be manually postmarked with the date it is received and processed with the rest of the mail postmarked on the same day.
We realize these policies will not make everyone happy because the demand will still be greater than the number of beds we have, so some will be turned away. However, we believe these policies give everyone the fairest opportunity to come to camp.
Other Registration Policies
- Campers’ grades are determined by their grade level during the 2011-2012 school year.
- Enclose a $50 deposit per camper for most programs. Balance is due upon arrival. If you cancel at least 14 days before the scheduled program, all but $25 will be refunded.
- Enclose a $15 deposit per person for all weekend programs ($30 total for a child and adult).
- Campers are placed in cabins according to sex first, then roommate preference, and finally by age.
- Because Camp Lakeview cabins can house 10 campers, groups of friends consisting of 6-9 campers are difficult to accommodate and may by split into two smaller groups for housing purposes. Lakeview Villages cabins can house 5 campers.
- Upon receipt of your registration, Lakeview Ministries will send a health form and a letter of confirmation.
