Meet the Full-time staff!!

Tom “Digger” Franke—Digger is the Executive Director at Camp Lakeview. He is serving in his 24th year in Outdoor ministry, the last fifteen of which have been here at Camp Lakeview. Digger and his wife Nancy have five children (Ben, Rachel, Matthew, Rebekah, and Daniel) and two dogs named Buttercup and Shasta.

John Dobrinski—John is the Site Manager for Lakeview Villages and its facilities. John was hired here in January of 2001, and has been an outstanding asset to the Lakeview staff. He, his wife Karen and his son Eric moved here from Northern Wisconsin.

Tim Stair—Tim joined the full-time staff as our second year-round Program Director in July 2006. Before coming to Camp Lakeview, he served as Director of Christian Education for St. John Lutheran Church in Defiance, Ohio. He is a 2002 graduate of Concordia University in River Forest, IL and lives in Mt. Healthy with his two daughters, Hannah and Emily.

Tina Trimpe—Tina began her duties as the new Administrative Assistant on March 26, 2007. She is a 1993 graduate of Indiana Business College with an Associates Degree in Accounting. She lives in Ogilville with her husband, Chris, twin sons Alex and Braden, and daughter Lydia. They are members of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Waymansville, where Tina has served as VBS director and has been involved in numerous other volunteer roles.

Dave Vandercar—Dave joined our year-round staff as Camp Lakeview Site Manager on January 1, 2010. Dave met his wife, the former Whitney “Supa” Powers, when they both were serving on our summer staff during the summers of 2002-2004. They have two daughters (Enola and Deandra) and live on Lake Road, just west of the lake’s property. Dave has an engineering degree from Purdue and worked at Ackeret Engineering in Seymour for five years. Whitney teaches at St. John Lutheran School, White Creek.

Matt “Rufio” Riley—Matt began his job as Lakeview Villages Program Director on March 1, 2011. He served on our summer staff from 2005-2007. In 2008, he graduated from Valparaiso University, and spent the next three years as an elementary teacher on an Indian reservation in South Dakota. Matt is originally from Indianapolis, where he grew up as a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He met his wife, Jenn, while in college, and they now have twin daughters, Katherine and Elisabeth.
