Mission

Camp Lakeview was established in 1964 to provide Christian experience of growth, inspiration, and recreation, for people of all ages through a year-round outdoor ministry.  Working within the confessions of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, we enhance the ministry of individual churches by providing the setting and resources for strengthening the faith of God’s people.

Camp Director

At right is Digger with his wife, Nancy, and their five children Ben (18), Rachel (16), Matthew (15), Daniel (12), and Rebekah (12).

He started his service at Camp Lakeview in November, 1996, after having served on the outdoor ministry staffs of Camp Lutherhaven (IN) from 1987-1993, Camp Luther (WI) from 1994-1995, and Pioneer Camp and Retreat Center (NY) in 1996.
