Camp Lakeview will be accepting high school youth to serve as "Jr. Counselors." Each J.C will volunteer their service for one cycle, each lasting two weeks. The 2008 cycles will be broken up as follows:

Jr. Counselor Cycle #1:  June 1-13

Jr. Counselor Cycle #2:  June 15-27

Jr. Counselor Cycle #3:  June 29-12

Jr. Counselor Cycle #4:  July 20-August 3

WHAT IS A JUNIOR COUNSELOR?
Good question! The Jr. Counselor will serve in almost every capacity that a camp counselor is expected to. In this role, you will have opportunities to build relationships with campers as well as staff that will be a blessing to you for years to come. For each week that the Jr. Counselor serves, they will be assigned to a different counselor to mentor them as they are put in leadership positions with the campers. Jr. Counselors will also be asked to assist with some meals as well as minor housekeeping projects. The Jr. Counselor is not only a great asset to OUR ministry at Camp Lakeview, but is also given opportunities to be fed spiritually themselves. What a great opportunity to experience all of the fun activities of camp from a different perspective!!
